Welcome to my academic website! I am a philosophy, religion, and ethics prof, most recently employed by Duke Kunshan University, as well as a certified existential coach and philosophical counselor. I additionally offer services in academic and career coaching, as well as consulting services for employers around reproductive and caretaking policies.
My research encompasses a broad range of issues, including topics in value theory, philosophy of religion, philosophical theology, practical & social philosophy, moral psychology, philosophy of sport, and the history of philosophy.

News
January 2026: I was recently named a runner-up for the APA's 2025 Plantinga Prize! You can find a copy of my prize essay, “Just Pretend? Religious Make-Believe as Theological Virtue” here.
December 2025: I have completed my certificate in transformative coaching from the Animas Centre for Coaching and am now taking practice clients for my ICF/EMCC certification and Animas diploma work. Interested clients can book a free exploratory call here.
